ABOUT OUR VILLAGE
Appleton is 4 miles from Abingdon and 8 miles from Oxford and has a population of about a thousand inhabitants.
A recorded settlement since the 9th century, the village has a primary school, St. Laurence CofE Church, a Community Shop, and the Plough public house in addition to the Village Hall.
